Lightweight, versatile, and fast
The Ibis Hakka MX is a bike that embodies versatility.
Can you race on it? Yes.
Can you go for a longer road ramble? Yes.
Can you take it bikepacking? Helllllll, yes.
This lightweight beast (the frame is only a kilogram!) can take on road, cross or gravel adventures. It'll take a 700c or 27.5" wheelset, depending on what terrain you're wanting to explore.
The handling is precise and responsive thanks to the super-stiff frame, and the geometry not only gives keeps it snappy but adds a valuable versatility.
Speaking of versatile, the frame is also compatible with myriad setups: 1X, 2X, electronic, and even a dropper post. It can take mud guards and multiple bottle cages, and there's also a removable rear mud guard mount on the seat stays. (See that little silver hand in the picture? How cute is that?)
Light enough to race on yet rugged enough for bikepacking the Hakka MX is your new secret weapon.
Thanks for your massive effort in retrieving the internal cabling on the Ridley. It's a job I would never have been able to do myself, and I cringe with embarrassment to think of the three of you working on the one bike for an hour to get it done. [BMCR: That's what we're here for…Karim Soetratma
